Job Description :
iCUBE, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer for an AI/ML Environment You: “Why?” is your favorite question. “How?” will keep you up at nights. Responsibilities

  • Develop Data Mappings from source EHRs to a centralized database.
  • Design, develop, and manage data pipelines to extract text from Electronic Health Record System through API and JSON interface.
  • Design and manage relational, non-relational and vector databases.
  • Optimize database performance for query efficiency and speed and ensure data is clean and validated..
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and quality across all systems.
  • Utilize AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS RDS (PostgreSQL), Amazon S3, and AWS Lambda (or equivalent) to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • Ensure robust data storage solutions with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Implement best practices for data security and compliance in line with healthcare regulations.
  • Create and maintain Tableau dashboards.
  • Work closely with AI/ML developers and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and collaborative development activities.

Technical Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in designing and managing data pipelines, databases, data integration solutions and data/performance optimization
  • Proficiency with AWS services, including but not limited to Glue, Athena, S3, and Lambda.
  • High expertise with programming skills in SQL and proficiency with Python, and other relevant languages.
  • Experience with PII and PHI.
  • Experience with healthcare data and familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

Additional Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Able to successfully obtain government public trust clearance
  • Healthcare experience is not necessary, but it will definitely elevate your standing
