Job Description :
iCUBE Inc. is looking for a mid-level Technical Document Writer, preferably with Enterprise Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Program documentation experience, and requisite technical writing skills for a federal contract associated with establishing an overall organizational data architecture, governance and management strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop project and program documentation as required and requested by the federal client and compliant with the contract requirements
  • Write and/or edit business and technical documents, including handbooks, project plans, proposals, reports, user manuals, briefings and presentations, functional descriptions, system specifications, guidelines, special reports, and other project deliverables to meet contract requirements
  • Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and project management ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations
  • Ensure documents are clear, concise, and in "official" format for publishing on federal government sites
  • Ensure documents are well-structured and complex solutions, strategies, and themes are easily understandable, readable, and compelling
  • Prepare presentations and graphics of highest quality for federal client meetings and illustrations
  • Provide final quality control checks, including proofreading and grammar to all contract documentation
  • Provide expertise on documentation updates and 508 compliance protocols

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in development of structured, formal written materials, visual aids, graphics, and presentations
  • Experience with writing business proposals and documentation related to data architecture, data governance, data engineering, data management or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, documentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaborate well with team members and business partners
